Procurement of Contractors & Sub-Contractors
In relation to Contractors, CAP X will control and manage the tendering process and will produce the tender enquiry documents incorporating the Contract with amendments if required, the bills of quantities and/or schedule of works, advise on security for performance requirements, the preliminary requirements, warranties and any other information that is required specifically relating to the project.
Upon receipt of the tenders, CAP X will analyse and interview where necessary culminating in the production of a tender report recommending which bidder is most suitable for acceptance. CAP X will then compile and issue the Contract documents for execution by both parties.
CAP X can also work as a consultant for the Main Contractor and produce tender enquiry documents for each package, whether the price is based upon bills of quantities or specifications and drawings. In these situations, CAP X will provide the preliminaries documentation, pricing document, the sub-contract, security for performance, warranties and the like.
